Jeanne Norman Chase grew up in California where she earned her BFA from California State University in Northridge. She moved to Florida where she taught drawing and painting at the Ringling School of Art and Design for 17 years. She now devotes her full time to her art. Her signature work is usually figurative, human or animal. Her art forms are; drawing, monotypes, woodblock prints and etchings. Sometimes she likes to incorporate several printing techniques, including drawing into her art work.
