Connie Black has lived and worked in Provincetown, MA on Cape Cod for most of her adult life except for thirteen years when with her husband and children she lived in the Washington DC area. She came to Provincetown to study with Henry Hensche at the Cape School of Art. Later she studied privately with Jim Forsberg. Recently she has taken printing workshops at the Fine Arts Work Center. Exhibiting extensively in this area, she is currently showing work at the Charles Baltivik Gallery in Provincetown, MA at Kiley Court. She is also a member of the Pen & Brush Inc, in New York City. She is a poet and artist who works in several mediums including painting, oil & watercolor, printmaking, monoprint, monotype, etching and collage. Recently she has delved into computer art.
