This is a series of mixed media monotypes. Each one has a history, has existed over time. The artist began each image with a viscosity printed monotype from her rejected file. They were kept because she liked certain parts very much. They are rather like the history of a life with "some parts which were not so great and other parts which were marvellous". The artist collaged and marked into these monotypes, adding images and preserving the the parts she liked. Some of the collaged images are various bits and pieces collected over time, for example, tickets from museums in Italy or France. Other images are computer printouts on rice paper of drawings or of photographs.
