MONOPRINT EQUIPMENT FOR SALE

Message posted by Richard on 23rd January 2002

The specs on the beater are it is 5ft by 3 ft and stands 4ft 2 inches from the ground. It has a stainless steel bed plate and roller and aluminum tub. I worked with colored pulps and never had a problem with the aluminum. I got bright yellows and other light colors. It is the same beater that Dieu Donne Paper Mill has in NY. It was made by Art Shade. It beats 50 gallons of pulp at a time. It weighs about 500 lb.. The tub sits on a metal chassis which can be separated from the beater. I paid $15,000 for it and want $5,000. It is in good condition. The hydraulic press is a Dake 75H press. It has an air drive. Just plug it into a compressed air source and press the lever and the platen generates up to 75 tons of pressure. It weighs about 1800 lb.. when assembled. The platens weigh 500 lb., the hydraulic weighs 500 lb. and the H frame weighs approximately 800 lb.. I have $11,000 in it and want $5000. I will attach pictures of the beater and press. Unfortunately I only have a picture of the hydraulic part of the press. You can see the piston and lever. I hope that helps. I will be throwing in some extras such as a few molds and deckles for the beater.
