I create thematic abstract and abstract landscape monoprints utilizing natural stencils. My prints explore and verify people's emotions and sense of place. Each monoprint has a correlating narrative that elaborates upon my expression. As a result, my artwork resonates a sense of personal connectedness through art, natural environment and literature.
We, as humans, are naturallay linked to the land; it has been our livlihood, our playground and our home. It is in our connection to the earth, and our understanding of its fragile balance that leads us to better relate with one another. If we lose touch with or ignore our natural spaces, we compromise our relationships as a result.
